Seit Januar 2020 bewirtschaften Reto und Nicole Messerli den Tierhof in Scheunenberg, in der Gemeinde Wengi. Der Betrieb führten Nicole's Eltern vor der Übergabe bereits über 20 Jahren erfolgreich biologisch. Nebst dem Betrieb in Scheunenberg, gehört ein Pachtbetrieb in Wengi dazu, auf welchem im Winter die Aufzuchtrinder gehalten werden.
